Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training

This virtual training is for people of faith who desire to become anti-racist. Participants will discover how the New Testament inspires Christian communities to liberate Black, Indigenous, and People of Color from all forms of racism.
He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Racial Disparities in the Arkansas Criminal Justice System Research Project sponsored by the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law and the Arkansas Coalition To Abolish The Death Penalty Board of Directors. He also serves as a Commissioner on the Little Rock Sustainability Commission.
He is an alumnus of the GreenFaith Fellowship Program and Toyota TogetherGreen Fellowship Program.
About Rev. Malik Saafir
Malik trains education, business, government, and nonprofit leaders how to fight for human rights. He has over 25 years of experience working with people who are seeking mental, emotional, and physical healing from cultural trauma. His work is devoted to comprehensively ending all forms of oppression through The Poetic Justice Movement.
He received a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University where he was a Kelly Miller Smith Scholar and graduated with Honors. He also holds a Master of Adult Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) where he specialized in Critical Race Theory, Spirituality, and Transformative Learning.
